A sealed tomb. A queen who vanished from the pages of history. And a mysterious seal that has remained hidden for thousands of years.
Taking on the role of reckless tomb raiders, you break into Nefertari’s tomb in search of gold, precious stones, and treasures valuable enough to change your lives. But what awaits you inside is more than buried treasure - it is Queen Nefertari herself, awakened after thousands of years of eternal sleep.
From this moment on, your treasure hunt becomes a race for survival. Trapped inside the ancient tomb, you have only 60 or 120 minutes to uncover its secrets, restore the ancient seal, and return the queen to her eternal sleep before it is too late. Fail, and you will become a permanent part of the tomb.
Mode: Pure Puzzle / NPC & Jumpscare.
How many people this room is for
THE QUEEN AWAKENS is designed for 2–12 players. At the low end, a duo can absolutely take it on, but you’ll be wearing multiple hats at once: searching, connecting clues, keeping track of story beats, and managing time. Expect fewer “you check that while I do this” moments and more tight communication. Three players ease the load a bit, yet you’ll still feel the satisfying pressure of covering the space and thinking in parallel.
From 4 to 8 people is the most comfortable range for many teams. There’s enough brainpower and hands to divide tasks without stepping on each other, and you can rotate roles naturally between search, solve, and verify. The room’s adventure–ancient–mystery vibe rewards clear call-outs and quick alignment when a new lead appears.
At 9–12 players, the experience becomes fast-paced and orchestral. You’ll solve more things at once, but you’ll also need a coordinator mindset: keep conversations crisp, avoid crowding a single prop, and rotate front-line solvers so everyone gets a slice of the action. The upside is momentum; the trade-off is that not every player will touch every step.
If your group doesn’t fit this room’s range, look at the closest-capacity options: CÚC (4–12 people) and THE QUIET ONE (4–10 people). Note that both of those require at least 4 players, whereas THE QUEEN AWAKENS welcomes teams of 2–3.
What difficulty 4/5 means
On our six-room lineup, this room sits at 4/5: there is 1 room that’s easier, 3 rooms that are harder, and 1 at the same level. That means you’re not in “tutorial land,” but you’re also not at the steepest end of the curve. Expect layered thinking, attentive observation, and the satisfaction that comes from connecting threads across the space.
For first-timers who enjoy a challenge, 4/5 is a great “stretch” difficulty—demanding in a good way, without feeling punitive. For players who’ve cleared a room or two before, it’s a sweet spot that lets you move with flow while still earning your breakthroughs. If you specifically want the maximum grind, there are harder options in the lineup; if you want the gentlest welcome, there is one room below this.
Who this room suits
If the words adventure, ancient, and mystery make your eyes light up, you’re in the right tomb. This room suits teams who like to explore, connect disparate details, and stitch a narrative together under time pressure. It rewards good note-taking (mental or otherwise), clear communication, and the willingness to split tasks when the plot branches.
It’s also a strong pick for mixed-experience groups: newcomers get the thrill of discovery, while veterans can chase multi-step solves without plateauing too soon. If your group prefers ultra-linear, bite-sized puzzles with a single path, or if you only want the most punishing difficulty available, this is not that. The design expects a bit of parallel thinking and teamwork; come ready to delegate and reconverge.
This room or another one
Choose THE QUEEN AWAKENS if:
- You’re 2–3 players and want a room that officially supports small teams.
- You have up to 12 players and want the headroom to include everyone in one space.
- You’re specifically after an Adventure–Ancient–Mystery experience at our Bà Huyện Thanh Quan location.
Pick CÚC if you want a room at the same difficulty (4/5) but your team comfortably sits in the 4–12 bracket and you prefer starting at a minimum of four. Choose THE QUIET ONE if your group is 4–10 and you want something at the very same address as THE QUEEN AWAKENS—convenient if your plans revolve around 49 Bà Huyện Thanh Quan. If you’re deciding by headcount alone: 2–3 points you here; 11–12 points you here (or CÚC); 4–10 means all three are viable, so choose by theme and location convenience.
Frequently asked questions
Is THE QUEEN AWAKENS manageable for just two players?
Yes. It’s within the official 2–12 range, so two players can take it on. Expect to split duties and use strong communication; you’ll cover more ground per person than larger teams, and you may want to ask for hints a touch earlier to keep momentum.
How does its 4/5 difficulty compare with CÚC?
They’re on the same difficulty tier: in our lineup there’s 1 room easier, 3 harder, and CÚC is the peer at 4/5. The practical difference is capacity—CÚC runs 4–12, while THE QUEEN AWAKENS runs 2–12—so groups of 2–3 should choose this room.
We have 11–12 people. Will the room feel too crowded?
It’s designed to accommodate up to 12. The experience will be brisk and collaborative; appoint a coordinator, split into small pods, and rotate who takes point at each step to keep everyone engaged.
Which location is this room at, and is THE QUIET ONE there too?
THE QUEEN AWAKENS is at 49 Bà Huyện Thanh Quan, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng. THE QUIET ONE is at the same location, which makes it an easy alternative for groups sized 4–10 who want to stay at that address.
